The Benson wrestling team had a great season this winter, winning 16 matches which could be a school record, and earning the program’s fourth gold medal at state when sophomore Thomas Dineen won the 195-pound, Class A title at the State Wrestling Tournament at St. Michael-Albertville.
Dineen had the best season of wrestling ever at BHS, going 38-0 overall and winning a state title.  He will go into his junior season of wrestling with a 107-14 career record and is within range of Ryan Thompson’s BHS career best of 170 victories....
