Debra J. Arnold, 70, of Willmar, Minnesota died Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Bethesda Grand.  Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 20 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Willmar with interment to be held at a later date in the Appleton City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19 at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and continue one hour prior to the service at the church  Wednesday.  Memorials may be given to Willmar Cancer Center or Redeemer Lutheran Preschool.

Debra was born July 15, 1953, in Morris, Minnesota, the daughter of Kenneth and Mardell (Gades) Arnold.  She grew up near Appleton where she graduated from high school in 1971.  Following high school, she earned her AA Degree.  Since 1972, she has worked at Rice Memorial Hospital as a receptionist in the admission area.  She also was an EMT for the ambulance.

Deb volunteered in numerous areas and with different organizations including Sunshine, Redeemer Preschool, Hospice, and Foot Lake 4.  She enjoyed all sports including golf, softball, volleyball and basketball.  If she wasn’t playing, she cherished all the times watching her nieces and nephews as well as her friends’ children. Christmas was extra special to Deb as she was able to spend it with her family celebrating. Deb loved traveling and enjoyed the many trips she was able to take with family and friends.

Surviving are her siblings: Lonny (Becky) Arnold of Morris, Robert (Lois) Arnold of Appleton, Jeff (Julie) Arnold of New London and Jackie Arnold of Moorhead; her nieces and nephews: Lincoln, Conor, Jacob (Crystal), Christopher, Jordan, Justin (Megan), Jesse (Julie), Bobbi Jo (Tyler Sach), Zachary Tucker, Jenna (Caleb) Dogotch, Emma (Hipolito Maldonado); and great nieces and nephews: Brayden, Mara, Beckett, Mack, Everly, Jensen, Presley, Henry, Asher, Chaeli, Keagan, Lilymae, Kennedy, Madden, Eliza, Ezra, and Elanora. She was not only loved by her family but many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Martin and great niece, Evalena Maldonado.
