Dairy permit raises questions about aquifer sustainability

Conditional use permits for both Dublin Dairy and Swenoda Dairy were granted for the installation of anaerobic digestion systems by the Swift County Board of Commissioners at their Sept. 6 meeting.
Dublin Dairy is in Dublin Township south of Murdock. Swenoda Dairy is in Swenoda Township near the Swift County-Chippewa County border and west of Minnesota Highway 29. Both are owned by Riverview Dairy, LLP.
