Cross-country teams to run at Morris Area, Monday, Aug. 30

The Benson-KMS cross-country teams had very successful seasons last year and the program is hoping that success continues into 2021, especially considering the team lost only four athletes from the boys and girls teams combined to graduation.

The Fighting Braves, coached by Samantha VanHeuveln and Bjorn Bakke, are set to open up the schedule Monday, Aug. 30 at the Morris Invitational followed by the Lac qui Parle Invitational three days later on Thursday, Sept. 2.  

The 32-member team is also scheduled to host its annual Benson Invitational, Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Benson Golf Course, and the Section 6A Cross-Country Meet is set for Friday, Oct. 29...
