County gets funds to help fix failing septic systems

Swift County Environmental Services has received a $350,000 grant to help homeowners repair and upgrade their septic systems.
The funds come from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) through the Minnesota Clean Water Partnership Project. They are issued following a Notice of Noncompliance for septic systems “deemed to be imminent threats, or for failing to protect groundwater.”
