Community Ed trying to go ahead with limited schedule

Community Education in Benson is set to open up the summer with summer baseball and summer softball, but many of the other activities have been canceled, or are still on hold and under consideration for this summer.

The Community Education/District Newsletter will not be published this spring/summer.  Information concerning summer rec activities will be posted on the Community Education Facebook page and on the Community Education page on the school district website as information becomes available. 

A list of summer offerings from the Community Ed classes can also be found in this week’s Monitor-News.

“As of right now, we have planned a softball and baseball summer program and an older girls gymnastics camp,” Community Ed Director Shelly Vergin said.  “There’s are also open gym opportunities for high school volleyball and girls basketball, a speed and strength training class, and several other opportunities...”
