Commercial poultry growers see easing of avian flu cases

Minnesota has now gone two weeks without a major commercial facility being hit by the deadly avian influenza virus. Since April 23, just three commercial facilities have been affected.
In that same time frame, the state has added another 17 cases, however, 14 have involved backyard flocks. In fact, the last seven cases reported since May 4 have all been backyard flocks.
