City again delays action on regulating products with THC

Benson’s City Council again tabled action on addressing concerns about Minnesota’s new law making it legal to sell edible products and beverages containing small amounts of THC.
THC is the ingredient in the marijuana plant than can make a person feel high. A person has to be at least 21 years old to buy the products that were made legal as of July 1 under a law passed by the Minnesota Legislature in May. Its passage and implementation caught many communities by surprise.
