CEDA promotes Tweed; city EDA job duties now split

Just over a year ago, the City of Benson brought on a fulltime economic development coordinator through its contract with Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA.)
Hillary Tweed was to focus the city’s efforts to expand and attract businesses, increase housing availability, and attract new employees to fill the many vacant positions at local manufacturing facilities and businesses.
There has now been a change in that relationship with Tweed being promoted to a CEDA Regional Director for West Central Minnesota. She remains a resident of Benson.
