Braves fall to BOLD in battle of WCC leaders

The Benson boys basketball team split a pair of conference games last week, winning at Sauk Centre last Tuesday night, 68-56, but fell at home to BOLD two nights later, 98-83.  The Braves lost to the Warriors despite going 17-for-37 on 3-pointers and shooting over 50 percent from the field.

The Braves, who are 10-5 overall and 5-3 in the WCC, are currently in second place in the league race, but six teams are within a game or two of each other in the battle for second.  BOLD, ranked No. 1 in Class A, is 8-0 in the conference...
