Benson wrestlers rally for win over Morris Area

The Benson wrestling team picked up its first win of the season, Thursday night, beating Morris Area-CA-Hancock, 40-32.
Each team won seven matches during the dual, but Benson had five pins and one forfeit compared to two pins and one forfeit win for the Tigers.
This week, Benson is set to host the Braves Wrestling Classic at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 30.  Teams attending will be Canby, Border West, Crosby-Ironton, Fergus Falls, Minnewaska Area, Morris Area, Ortonville, and Quad County.  The finals will take place at about 4 p.m. and medals go to the top three wrestlers in each weight class and a trophy to the top team.
After that, the Braves are set to compete at a triangular at BOLD, Thursday, Jan. 5....
