Benson wrestlers edge BOLD for first victory

The Benson team split a pair of matches at the Benson quadrangular last Tuesday, edging BOLD on the first match, 42-38, but falling to a strong Eden Valley-Watkins team in the other match, 48-30.

EVW beat Ortonville (59-16) and BOLD (57-21) to claim the four-team title, while BOLD also beat the Trojans (51-27) and Benson and Ortonville did not wrestle.

The Braves were also set to wrestle at Osakis, Thursday and at the Monticello Tournament, Saturday, but results of those two competitions were not received by presstime and will be highlighted next week.
