Benson-KMS girls tennis team drops to 0-2 with 6-1 loss to Osakis

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team fell to 0-2 for the season with a 6-1 loss to Osakis in the home opener last Tuesday night in Benson.  The Fighting Braves were also set to play at Montevideo, Thursday, but that meet was postponed as Montevideo High School deals with COVID-19 issues.
Benson-KMS is set to host two matches this week, beginning with a match against Lac qui Parle/Dawson-Boyd, Tuesday (yesterday) and against Yellow Medicine East, Thursday (tomorrow).

Benson-KMS went 9-9 overall last season, including a 5-3 mark within the WCC.  The new coach this year is Coleton Anderson.
Minnewaska Area won last year’s WCC title with a perfect 8-0 league mark, followed by LQP-DB (7-1), Montevideo (6-2), Benson-KMS (5-3), Melrose Area and YME (both 3-4), Morris Area-WCA (2-6), Sauk Centre (1-7), and MACCRAY (0-8).
