Benson-KMS cross-country teams host meet at Kerkhoven Golf Club

Landon Thompson was third overall at the Benson-KMS Invitational Cross-Country Meet last Tuesday at Kerkhoven.  Thompson led the Fighting Braves to a fourth-place finish in the boys competition, while teammate Jacob Gareis was 11th.

In the girls race, Natalie Jorschumb led the Fighting Braves in 12th place and Erica Bakke was 16th as Benson-KMS finished fifth overall of 10 teams in the home meet.

State-ranked Minnewaska Area won the girls meet by eight points over Wadena-DC, while LQP-DB placed first in the boys meet, edging out Sauk Centre by 11 points for first (49-60)...
