Benson girls top Montevideo and ACGC

The Benson girls basketball team won two-straight home games last week, beating Montevideo last Tuesday night, 41-28, and also routing Atwater-CGC, Thursday, 56-19.  The Braves, who improved to 6-7 overall and 4-5 in the WCC, were also scheduled to play at Melrose, Friday, but that game was postponed to Friday, Feb. 14 due to weather.

The Braves are still trying to have the first winning record for the Benson girls basketball program since 2010-11 when the team went 20-8.

This week, Benson has two more home games with Prinsburg CMCS, Tuesday (yesterday) and BOLD, Friday...
