Benson football team to kick off 2021 season at Kimball

The Benson football team was set to open up the season at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3 at Kimball Area.  The home opener is set for Friday, Sept. 10 against Long Prairie-GE, which is also Parent’s Night.  The annual Homecoming game is set for 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 17 at home against BBE.

The football season started late last year with Benson’s first game taking place Friday, Oct. 9 against BOLD.  

The season also ended early before many of the section championship games and there was no state football tourney...
