Benson boys top MACCRAY and WHN

The Benson boys basketball team continued its recent winning ways with two more wins last week, giving the Braves four victories in their last five games.

The Braves, who improved to 6-8 overall, won at home against MACCRAY last Monday night, 67-57, but then lost at Melrose Area last Tuesday, 71-49, before closing out the week with a 72-60 home win against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.

Benson, which is 2-7 in the WCC, has four regular-season games left on the schedule.  The Braves were set to play at Minnewaska Area, Tuesday (yesterday) and host Morris Area-CA, Thursday (tomorrow)...
