Benson boys suffer first loss versus BOLD

The Benson boys basketball team lost its first game last Tuesday night at BOLD, 89-66.  The Braves trailed 45-35 at halftime before being outscored 44-31 in the second half.  BOLD was recently ranked second in Class A and is 2-0 in the WCC.

BOLD had four players score in double figures, including Jordan Sagedahl with 26, while Will Enderson and Cole Hedman led the Braves with 19 and 18 points, respectively, but Benson was kept from having four players score in double figures for the first time this season.

The Braves were also set to host the Benson Invitational, Friday and Saturday, but results of the tournament were not available by presstime.
