Benson boys drop game to Morris, split with BOLD
The Benson boys basketball team hopes to turn things around during an upcoming five-game stretch. The Braves fell to 2-7 overall and 1-6 in the WCC with one win and two losses last week. The week started on a good note when the Braves beat BOLD in a home game last Monday night, 68-60, but things turned sour three nights later with a 66-49 loss at Morris Area and a 73-61 loss at BOLD, Saturday.
This week, Benson has games scheduled at Atwater-CGC (1-7 record), Monday, and at Montevideo (3-4), Friday. After that, the Braves host MACCRAY (3-6), play at Melrose Area (8-0), and host Wheaton-HN (3-4).
