Avian influenza has infected 13 state flocks

Losses of turkeys in Minnesota continue to mount as the avian influenza has now infected 13 facilities in the state, the state Board of Animal Health reported Monday. In all, 582,873 turkeys have died or been euthanized to stop the spread of the disease.
