The meeting was called to order at 2:33 p.m. by Vice Chair Gary Williams.  Members present:  Paul Carruth, Mary Langan, Bill McGeary, Eric Peterson, Gary Williams, Chad Payne (arrived at 4:30 p.m.).  Members absent:  Jodi DeJong-Hughes.
Also present:  Dennis Laumeyer, Dave Benson, Paul Youngquist, Ryan Breitbach, Tim Rabbits, Robert Neuman, Kyle Simonson, Sarah Todd, James Berens, Brian Samuelson, Reed Anfinson.

  NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION: To the Electors of the City of Clontarf in the County of Swift, State of Minnesota, Notice is Hereby Given that a Special Election will be held in the above named city at 301 14th Street North, Benson, MN 56215 on Tuesday, the Twelfth day of February 2019, at which time the polls will be opened at 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of answering the question “Shall the Clontarf City Council be allowed to issue on-sale licenses to restaurants, clubs, bowling center, and hotels for the sale of intoxicating liquor at retail on Sundays?”

SWIFT COUNTY BOARD MINUTES
January 8, 2019
 
County Auditor Kim Saterbak called the organizational meeting to order at 9:00 AM with all Commissioners present as well as Administrator Kelsey Baker, County Attorney Danielle Olson, and Terri Orr.
Auditor Saterbak asked for nominations for Chair of the Board.  

01-08-19-01 Commissioner Hendrickx nominated Commissioner E. Pederson. Commissioner E. Pederson nominated Commissioner Rudningen. After calling for additional nominations three times, Saterbak declared nominations closed and a hand vote was taken. Commissioners Fox, Hendrickx, and P. Peterson voted for Commissioner E. Pederson. Commissioner E. Pederson voted for Commissioner Rudningen. Commissioner E. Pederson was named Board Chair for 2019. (Resolution No. 19-01-01)
Auditor Saterbak asked for nominations for Vice Chair of the Board.

▪ 1,900 ton paver laid bituminous, more or less divided between roadways and trails
 
A bid sheet can be obtained by calling City Hall at 320-843-5448.
No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the date of its opening.
 The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality contained therein.
