NOTICE OF ADOPTION
  City of Clontarf is adopting an ordinance to amend the Clontarf city code to eliminate the municipal liquor dispensary and to permit the issuance of on and off sale liquor licenses within the city of Clontarf and to add chapter titled: Tobacco possession sale and use.  This ordinance will allow private party owners to apply for liquor and tobacco sale licenses in the City of Clontarf.  These licenses will be issued on a yearly basis once an applicant has completed the application process and is approved.  Anyone issued liquor and tobacco licenses will be required to follow state, county, and local laws and guidelines.  A complete copy of this ordinance is available at the Clontarf Fire Hall,  131 Grace Ave. Clontarf, MN 56226.

Monday, September 17, 2018 - 5:30 p.m.
Benson High School Media Center

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chair Chad Payne.  Members present:  Paul Carruth, Jodi DeJong-Hughes, Tammy Gunlogson, Mary Langan, Chad Payne and Gary Williams.

Members absent:  Bill McGeary.  Also present:  Dennis Laumeyer, Brad Johnson, Mike Knutson, Dave Benson, Pam Anderson, Kendra Razink, Reed Anfinson and Mike Thompson.

No additions to the Agenda.
The agenda was approved as presented.
No citizens comments.
The board approved the consent agenda items as presented.  
Progress Reports were presented by the administrators.

PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST

  The Public Accuracy Test for the following precincts will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.   Testing will be held in the Lower Break Room - Swift County Courthouse located at 301 14th Street North, Benson, MN 56215 for the General Election on November 6, 2018.  The Precincts are the Townships of :  Appleton, Camp Lake,  Clontarf, Cashel, Dublin, Edison, Fairfield, Hayes, Hegbert, Kerkhoven, Marysland, Moyer, Shible,  Six Mile Grove, Swenoda, and Tara; and the Cities of:  Clontarf, Danvers, Holloway, and Murdock.  The Public is invited to attend.

The Benson Housing and Redevelopment Authority has developed its Annual Agency Plan for the Years 2019-2023, in compliance with the Public Housing Reform Act of 1998. It is available for review from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Community Rooms at Parkview Manor, 300 13th St. N. and Westwood Manor, 2000 Hall Ave. and the Benson Public Library. Comments on the plan may be submitted to the Benson HRA Office, 300 13th St. N., Benson, MN 56215.  A public hearing concerning this plan will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at Parkview Manor. The Benson HRA will hold a Board Meeting concerning the Annual plan following  the hearing at Parkview Manor.

Contractor's sealed Proposals for the 2019 Benson High School Gymnasium Remodel will be received by the Independent School District No. 777, Benson, Minnesota, until 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, in Benson, Minnesota, in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Architects Rego + Youngquist, inc., 7601 Wayzata Boulevard, St. Louis Park, Minnesota 55426.

Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the above time and place.  Bids received after 2:00 pm will be returned unopened.

A single bid will be received for all divisions of the Contract.

Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, marked on the lower left-hand corner "Sealed Bid Enclosed" with the name and address of the bidder and the date and hour of the opening and addressed to:
