NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE HOSPITAL REFUNDING BONDS WITH GENERAL OBLIGATION PLEDGE OF SWIFT COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swift County-Benson Hospital (the “Hospital District”) intends to issue Hospital Revenue Bonds (the “Bonds”), in a principal amount of not to exceed $6,250,000, pursuant to Minnesota Laws 1992, Ch. 534, Sections 6 to 20 (the “Act”). The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to refund the outstanding Hospital Revenue Bonds (Swift County General Obligation), Series 2007 of the Hospital District. If, within ten days of the date of publication of this notice, a petition asking for an election on the proposition of issuing the bonds signed by voters equal to ten percent of the number of votes at the late regular election is filed with the undersigned Secretary, the bonds may not be issued unless approved by a majority of the electors voting on the question at a legal election.

  The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Chair Chad Payne.  Members present:   Andy Abner, Jodi DeJong-Hughes, Bill McGeary, Marlene Molden, Al Pagel, Chad Payne and Gary Williams.
  Members absent:  None.  Also present:  Dennis Laumeyer, David Benson, Mike Knutson and Shelly Vergin.
  Architect Paul Youngquist led the discussion on facilities improvements.

 Monday, June 9, 2014 - 6:00 p.m.
Benson Senior High Media Center

The meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m. by Chair Chad Payne.  Members present:   Andy Abner, Jodi DeJong-Hughes, Bill McGeary, Marlene Molden, Al Pagel, Chad Payne and Gary Williams.
Members absent:  None.  Also present:  Dennis Laumeyer, David Benson, Mike Knutson, Pam Anderson, Shelly Vergin, Andy Macziewski, Amy Macziewski, Rick Macziewski and Marilyn Mader.    
Chair Chad Payne stated the purpose of the special meeting is to sell the trades house.  Don Brehmer commented on the house and explained that it is sold “as is” and explained the bidding process.  Supt. Laumeyer presented the two bids received:
