County proceeds with plans for highway, human services buildings

Swift County will proceed with $7.5 million in improvements to its highway maintenance and human services buildings, but due to inflation the projects have been scaled back.

“Instead of building a new maintenance shop, the county is looking at renovating the current facility, but we don’t want (today’s) action of the board to hold us to that,” Administrator Kelsey Baker said at the board of commissioners meeting Sept. 6.
