JEANETTE R. (REGAN) LANGAARD

Jeanette Rose (Regan) Langaard, 92, of Eau Claire, WI area, (formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota), peacefully went home to the Lord April 16, 2019.

A Visitation will be at 6 p.m. and a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the Edina Cremation Society, 7110 France Avenue S, Edina, Minnesota.

Born on a farm October 13, 1926 just outside Benson, Minnesota, she was the sixth and youngest child of Jeremiah (Jerry) and Agnes (Quinn) Regan.

Jeanette and Chet married and moved to Minneapolis in 1953 and raised their five children in south Minneapolis, most notably at Incarnation Grade School and Church in the 1960’s and St. Thomas the Apostle Grade School and Church in the 1970’s. Jeanette worked as a cashier at Food Lane and cashier & bookkeeper at Kenny’s Market, both in south Minneapolis, and was a proud member of the Richfield VFW. Jeanette had a beautiful singing voice and sung in the church choir and with many groups at the VFW, performing at numerous events.

She is preceded in death by her parents, former husband Chester (Chet), son Terrence (Terry), brothers Gene & Jim (Bud) and sisters Genevieve (Jenny), Eileen (Skug) & Dorothy.

She is survived by sons: Scott, Jeff (Anne) & Brad and daughter Nancy, 12 grandchildren: Eric (Shanda), Jessica (Andy), David & Daniel, Luke & Samantha, Tara & Jack, Elliot & Sarah, Noah & Rose, and two great-grandchildren: Scarlett & Finn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to VFW Richfield, 6715 Lake Shore Drive S, Richfield, MN 55423, or Heartland Hospice, 3410 Oakwood Mall Drive, Ste 400, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
