The KMS volleyball team earned a five-game win over MACCRAY, Thursday night in Kerkhoven.  The win by the Saints kept the team’s title hopes alive as KMS improved to 5-5 in the Camden North Conference with one match to go, and the Wolverines fell to 6-3.

Earlier in the week, the Saints lost in three games to state-ranked Minneota.

The Saints are now 9-7 overall and 5-5 in the conference with four scheduled competitions left in the regular-season.

KMS was set to play at Kimball, Monday and home RTR, Tuesday (yesterday) before closing out the regular season with two tournaments, one Oct. 12-13 at SMSU and the final one at Underwood, Thursday, Oct. 18.

If MACCRAY loses its final two matches against Tracy and RTR and the Saints beat RTR in their final Camden Conference match, the two teams would be co-champs.  Hurting KMS earlier this season was a five-game loss at home to RCW....
