DARREN KEITH ANDERSON
November 14, 1958 - February 19, 2018

Darren Keith Anderson, age 58, was born November 14, 1958 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.  In high school Darren was involved in football, basketball and baseball, graduating in 1977 from Benson High School.

Darren attended Moorhead State University to pursue a criminal justice major leading to do security work at Anheuser-Busch and Steiger Tractor.

Darren moved to Texas in 1979 initiating his work at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant starting as a security guard and earning his way to becoming a Lieutenant.  Following his tenure at the nuclear power plant, Darren became interested in construction and became a subcontractor in finishing work within the booming Texas housing industry.

One of the reasons Darren loved living in Texas was that he could be on the golf course every day.  He often passed on his old golf clubs to his dad who enjoyed this connection with Darren.  Reading was a favorite pastime for Darren and he often shared his reading interests and books with others.

On Monday, February 19, Darren passed away at his home in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 58.

Darren is survived by his parents Claremont and Nancy; two siblings, Jay Lee (Gilbert) of Litchfield and Terry (Linda) of Sun Prairie, WI; sister-in-law Tori of Peosta, IA; and eight nieces and nephews: Will, Ryker, Tyra, Amelia, Christine, Cassandra, Keely, and Kirsten.  He is preceded in death by his brother Major Stuart M. Anderson; his grandparents Lavon & Roland Olson, and Lillian & Albin Anderson.

Memorial Services will be held at Lincoln Lutheran Church on May 5 at 1pm.
