The MBA Storm Pee Wees finished sixth at the Minnesota State Pee Wee Tournament at Moorhead last weekend.  MBA went 1-2 overall, losing to Champlin Park in its first game, 4-3, but coming back to beat Park of Cottage Grove in its next game, 3-0, before losing to Edina White in the consolation finals, 8-0.

MBA, which finished the season 37-6-1 overall, earned a berth at the state tourney after placing second at the Minnesota Hockey West Region Tournament, Feb. 26-28 at Red Lake Falls.

Five of the team’s losses came against top-20 ranked teams.  MBA also won the District 15 regular-season title, Fergus Falls Tourney championship, and District 15 tourney title.
