Patrick Walsh, 79, of Shady Shores, Texas died Thursday evening, September 18, 2014, at Denton Regional Hospital,  surrounded by family.
Burial will take place Saturday, October 4, 2014, 11 a.m at St. Bridget’s Cemetery in DeGraff, Minnesota, followed by a time of fellowship at the DeGraff Community Center with the family.
Pat was born in Willmar, Minnesota to Edward and Caroline (Frederickson) Walsh and raised in Benson.
September 9, 1961, he was united in marriage to Peg Murphy of Murdock at the St. Bridgets Catholic Church in DeGraff.  To this union were born two children, daughter Terri and son Ed.
Pat and Peg lived in St. Louis Park for 32 years before moving to Shady Shores in  1995.
Pat loved to hunt, collect miniature tractors and watching TV and working in his yard, which was beautifully kept, and especially loved being with his family and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Peg (Murphy) Walsh of Shady Shores, Terri (Mick Walburg) of  Aubrey, Texas and Ed (Janet) Walsh of St. Louis Park.  Also surviving are six grandchildren:  Kyle, Ben and Tandi Walburg, Trent, Jarrett and Brady Walsh and one brother Michael of Osceola,  Wisconsin; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pat was preceeded in death by his parents and grandparents.
