People started lining up at the Benson Armory around 3 a.m. in hopes of getting one of the 500 tickets made available to the public for next Tuesday's Target-sponsored Celebrity Celebration. The doors opened at 10 a.m. with the line curling around the front of the Armory and stretching along the whole south side of the building. Late Thursday morning the line was gone, but people continued to show up in hopes of getting one of the tickets. By noon just over 500 tickets had been claimed.

Benson's Northside Elementary School won the event, which will feature Country Music Entertainer of the Year” Luke Bryan,  U.S. gymnast and 2012 two-time gold medal Olympic champion Gabrielle Douglas, actress Sophia Bush, and former Green Bay Packers’ star Donald Driver, in Target’s “Give With Target” promotion.  It was the first school to earn 10,000 Facebook votes, giving the school the top prize over all other schools in the United States. The school also won $10,000.
