The Benson boys basketball team rallied for a 63-62 overtime victory at Litchfield last Tuesday night.  The Braves trailed 28-23 at halftime and were also down by three points late in the game before Adam Lindahl banked in a 3-pointer to send the game into overtime.
In OT, the Braves outscored the Dragons, 6-5, picking up the winning point on a free-throw by Andrew Lindahl.  Layton Connelly led Benson with 24 points.
Benson, which improved to 4-3 with its second-straight win, is set to compete at the Redwood Valley Tourney, Dec. 30-31.  The next home game for the Braves isn’t until Monday, Jan. 11 when Benson is set to host BOLD.
