Target throws party for lucky Benson school children

Benson came in first in the Give With Target contest, earning a $10,000+ prize, a Target party and a Luke Bryan concert.

Celebrities such as Gabby Douglas, Luke Bryan and Donald Driver appeared and took pictures with local sports teams. To score 10,000 votes was quite the achievement.

Red carpet adorned the walkways at the school, the gym looked like a disco, and the football field was a great concert location, with 500 free tickets for anyone who showed up last Thursday to claim them.

“It’s fun thing coming to a small town and knowing that the town shut down for this,” Bryan said.

Submitted Photo:  Luke Bryan made appearances around town during the day as he worked out and ate at local restaurants.  But the real treat was the 6-song concert he performed.
