Ahrndt earns return trip to State Gymnastics Meet

Mariah Ahrndt earned her second-straight trip to the State Gymnastics Meet after qualifying to the state meet in the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise at the Section 6A Meet, Saturday at NLS High School. 
Ahrndt missed out on qualifying in the all-around, too, after scoring a 36.125 in the all-around to place fourth overall.
Willmar won the team title by almost five points over perennial power Melrose Area, while NLS was third, Litchfield-DC fourth, and Benson-KMS fifth of the 10 competing teams.
Benson-KMS’ score of 130.65 was the seventh time in 11 meets the Fighting Braves have scored 130 or more points.  The State Gymnastics Meet is set for Feb. 22-23 at St. Paul...
